How to make delicious, dairy-free treat

Nice cream is the vegan version of ice cream. It is made of blended bananas and a multitude of other flavorings. The dairy-free dessert can be topped with fruit such as bananas or raspberries.

Nice cream is all the rage in the vegan world, and I have been on the prowl for a tasty recipe for a while.

While scrolling through Instagram, we have all seen snaps of mouth-watering foods that our favorite food accounts, Insta-famous idols, and friends post.

However, it can be hard to recreate the thick, towering bowls of vegan ice cream you have seen on social media.

After a summer of experimenting, I have come up with the following recipe, which results in a yummy, healthy dessert with perfect proportions. Enjoy!

1 handful frozen strawberries
2 frozen bananas, cut in half
⅓ cup almond milk
1 tsp peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 handful fresh raspberries (optional)

Blend strawberries, bananas, and almond milk until thick, smooth consistency.
Add peanut butter and vanilla, and blend.
Add cocoa powder. and blend until completely mixed but maintain a texture similar to that of frozen yogurt.
Top with fresh fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, or blueberries, or take an adventurous twist with a sprinkling of cacao nibs, granola, or coconut flakes.
