FOSTERING. According to The Humane Society, about 70% of cats that enter shelters are euthanized—put to death humanely. Tragically, this is because shelters have become so full that they do not have space or resources to properly care for all of the animals that need help.
Obviously, you can always help shelters by donating or volunteering but not many people know that you can actually foster animals at home. Fostering means that you and your family take care of an animal—usually, a cat or dog—for as little time as a week or until that pet is able to be adopted. My personal specialty is cats and kittens but there are also countless resources to help you foster puppies or dogs as well.

BREAK TIME. A typical spring break consists of traveling, spending time with friends and family, or even just relaxing by yourself. Its a nice vacation from reality. However, with the pandemic still hanging over us, this year is going to look a whole lot different than past years. Some people may be traveling in a safe and cautious manner while others think it may be best to stay home for the week off.

NOT TOO LATE. With college decision day quickly approaching, it may seem like there are not many scholarship opportunities still available. However, this is far from the truth. From creative and fun essays to quick and easy forms, there are several interesting options to choose from, and even more are available on the counseling department website.

It’s not too late!

ENVISIONING AN END. Spoilers ahead. Coming from someone who is a huge fan of Marvel movies. I had high expectations for WandaVision. Did the show reach my expectations? Yes, kind of. Let me explain. Before I explain my thoughts behind WandaVision and spoil some important parts of the show, I highly recommend watching WandaVision. I would give it an 8.5/10, as my complaints about the show really only revolve around the many theories I heard and unrealistic expectations of the show.

A GRADUAL CHANGE. A recent Gallup survey revealed that 1 in 6 Gen Z Americans identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community, with about half of all LGBTQ+ Americans identifying as bisexual. The number of people within Gen Z identifying as part of the LGBTQ+ community compared to previous generations shows a significant deviation from the past, with around 15 percent of Gen Z being LGBTQ+ and other generations not even hitting double digits.
