This is the official poster of the play, “Irena’s Vow.” The show takes place on Feb. 2-4 at 7:30 PM in the Aves Theatre. “Irena’s Vow” is the spring production of the Aves Theatre that is a true story of a girl who saves the lives of 12 Jews during the Holocaust.

THE MORE YOU KNOW. SHS’ AQT faces off in a team round against against Mason. Team round takes place first in every competition and includes three questions in each topic (from literature to American government), one for each team and one tossup. SHS won the first match 78-63.

CHANGE. Bunbury has two main stages, Sawyer’s Point and Yeatman’s Cove, and two smaller stages, River stage and Pavilion stage. These stages are different from the original six stages set up around downtown Cincinnati. The change happened in hopes to make it more easily accessible to concert-goers to get from one stage to the next in less time.

LUNCH TIME. On a Saturday during the rehearsal process, the actors and crew members are found hard at work. Amanda Jensen, Katie Stautberg, Maddy Weiss, Sydney Weiss, Shayna Kling, and Sarah Guedira took their lunch break at Pioneer park on a particularly nice day.  “It was a nice break from working in the theatre,” said Kling.

PERFORM. From their previous marching band season the members of color guard perform their show, Vortex. Members from the guard meet again after the fall season to help keep their flag skills. Any one is welcome to join the winter spin club, and no experience is needed.
