Members spend a lot of time together, so oftentimes it is hard for seniors to move on past the 900 hours put towards band. They are learning and experiencing things for the first time, which can be very exciting. “They’re all opening their eyes and ears now, so they don’t know voices, they don’t know sounds… So my role is to hold the puppies, make them feel comfortable… and then make sure that they’re getting used to new stuff,” said DeBrosse.
