The Sycamore Aves Varsity Diving team is preparing for their next meet which will be the GMC meet. Senior Taylor Miller has been diving for her whole high school career. “I love diving. It is so much fun. I was a gymnast for 14 years and the transition from gymnastics to diving was easy. Diving is not as much of a high-stress sport as gymnastics was, so it is very chill,” Miller said. Miller ended her competitive gymnastics career this year.

ALL BARK, NO BITE. Although it is highly frowned upon, even in professional leagues players still resort to the art of trash-talk. Some of the most iconic sports players in history like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Sean Avery have even refrained from keeping the game totally clean. According to Shaquille O’ Neal, Jordan once told him exactly what he was going to do during the game and yet still pulled it off. Im coming down. Im going to dribble it between my legs twice. Im going to pump fake and then Im going to shoot a jumper. And then Im going to look at you, recited O’ Neal.
