RIP. Students have learned a hard lesson after the death of popular video-sharing app Vine in January. “I have had many regrets in my seventeen and a half years of life. One of them was never appreciating Vine for what it was until it was too late. It has determined so much of our culture today - indeed, you do it for the Vine, and the Vine only,” said Kiri Wang, 12. Appreciating the small things in life like a good chuckle from a Vine is vital to our well being, and students continue to remember the app in its glory days.

PROGRAM. Juniors Nick McDonough and Phil Bryant work on their robot during first Aves bell. Both students have a love of Computer Science and Programming, and although Bryant is new to the club, he has had experience building computers on his own; furthermore, he was a member of his old school’s Science Olympiad Team. “I build computers as a hobby, but Ive not really done robotics, so its nice being able to come in and being able to work during Aves bell,” Bryant said.

PRICE TAG. iPhone sales are down, but the money generated is greater than last quarter. There is a multitude of factors that can explain the flat lining sales and the resulting increase in price. Some say that the already smartphone-heavy era diminishes the need for the newest phone while others say that rumors about the iPhone 8 could have lead to decreased sales.
