A look at the hype surrounding Ryan Lynn
Lynnsanity

As the spring season approaches, the boys’ lacrosse team is preparing for what could be one of their most exciting seasons to date. A young team led by junior sensation Ryan Lynn will look to build on a 12-6 record from last year.
Lynn, who stands at 6’4’ and is already committed to playing for one of the best Division 1 lacrosse programs in the country— the University of Albanyis one of the most prolific goal scorers in the nation. His talent was on full display at the Aves’ last scrimmage when he outscored the other team all by himself.
Lynn’s friends are happy to brag about him. His best friend, Cooper Morgan, 11, said, “Ryan Lynn, while being the best athlete the school has ever seen, is also the most humble.”
Luckily for Sycamore, despite being talented enough to play Division 1 right now, Lynn remains focused on doing all he can to help the Aves win. In an interview with The Leaf staff, Lynn said that the team has already circled the big games on their schedule, which include GMC clashes with Lakota West, Fairfield, Oak Hills, Lakota East, and archrival Mason.
When asked which of these games means the most to him and the team, Lynn responded, “Mason is a very strong team and our greatest rival. The last time we defeated them as a program was in 2019. If we could finally beat them, it would mean everything to the team, especially the seniors, because they have never beaten Mason.”
Indeed, it has been a while since the Aves have had something to celebrate after playing their rivals. However, with the so-called “king of high school” leading the charge, this year’s team seems poised to flip the script for the first time in a long time. As far as we are concerned, Ryan Lynn alone makes this team must-see TVbut he won’t be working alone. Joining him for a potentially record-breaking season are Stevenson-commit Garrett Brenkert, 12, who can lock down any attackman in the GMC, and attackman Beckett O’Shea, 12, whose return from injury should give the Aves a much-needed boost on the attack.
With one of its best rosters in a long time, this year’s team seems poised to make history. But whether or not the Aves will be able to take down the Comets and achieve their goals, one thing is for certain—they will be fun to watch.
