SHS students share their most meaningful winter holiday gifts

Every year, thousands of people around the world celebrate the winter holidays. Friends and family get together and show their love and appreciation for each other by exchanging gifts. This tradition has been around for centuries, with its roots in the ancient Roman festival, Saturnalia, and Christian stories.

For some, planning starts months in advance as they search for the perfect present for their loved ones. SHS students agree that the perfect present is based not on its price, but on the thought behind it.
As we get ready to celebrate the holidays, The Leaf staff asked SHS students to look back at their previous celebrations and share a few of the most meaningful gifts they have received.
