The most romantic day of the year is less than two weeks away. If you have not yet thought of a gift for your partner, here are some classic gifts guaranteed to be appreciated.
Jewelry
One of the safest bets is jewelry of any kind, and believe me, there are a lot of options. You could go with a matching set of necklaces or bracelets or even a necklace with your partner’s initials (especially for any Taylor Swift fans who love the song “Call It What You Want”). You could also get some handmade jewelry for a more personal touch. Whatever you choose, just remember to check if your partner wears gold or silver!
Flowers
Flowers are a classic. Regardless if someone is a big flower fan or not, you can never go wrong with a bouquet of roses as a romantic gesture. If you know your partner’s favorite flower, that is even better. But if you do not like the fact that flowers do not last a long time, I have never in my life met a person who would not love a set of Lego flowers.
Legos
As I mentioned before, a Lego set is never a bad decision. Any set can be fun to build together and there are so many options to choose from; flowers for the romantic occasion or matching keychain figures that you build of each other are just some examples. And while building it, you can always put on a romcom or music in the background.
Stuffed Animals
Who would not enjoy getting a stuffed animal as a gift? Jellycats have been super famous for quite some time now and I bet no one would complain about receiving one, especially if it is one of the iconic bunnies or the Valentine’s-appropriate heart. You do not even have to get the brand Jellycat, as they can get very pricey; any brand would do the job as an adorable gift. If you know their favorite animal, that right there is the perfect gift idea, but any animal would work for sure.
Sweets
It might sound boring to some, but sometimes simple and sweet (literally) goes a long way. There are many ways to arrange sweets. You could try some of the candy flower bouquets popular on Tiktok. You could do a wild mix of all the other person’s favorite candies in a Valentine’s box or, if you are somewhat gifted at baking, you could always cutely decorate cookies or a cake.
Because Valentine’s Day only comes once a year, it is the perfect opportunity to show your partner they are loved and appreciated. You do not even have to go all out on extravagant gifts—it is the thought that counts. I hope everyone has a fun and successful Valentine’s Day (or alternatively happy Galentines)!
