Both first and second year chemistry students are preparing to take the National American Chemistry Society (ACS) end-of-year test. The test covers topics students learn in chemistry class throughout the entire year. Chemistry teachers Mrs. Kimberly Cooper and Mr. Chad Husting offer study sessions after school the three weeks before the ACS test to help students prepare for sections of the test not yet covered in class.
Students who score in the top 25% of the nation will have the opportunity to be exempt from their chemistry final exams. Those who score in the top 10% will also be invited to a celebratory banquet.
