On March 8, both Science Olympiad teams competed at regionals at Xavier University. At the competition, members participated in various science-related events ranging from builds, like Tower and Write It Do It, to paper and pencil tests, like Codebusters and Disease Detectives. Both teams put in countless hours compiling material and practicing, and their hard work culminated in an amazing showing. Team 2 placed 9th overall, earning a total of 19 medals and placing within the top 3 in 4 Events. Team 1 came in 3rd, winning 38 medals and placing within the top 3 in 6 Events, ultimately qualifying for the State Tournament on April 26.
