Quote: “Alexa and I have made it to state two years in a row for doubles, but this year we are both playing singles. The tournament has been going pretty well so far, as Alexa and I played each other in the finals of sectionals. Districts are coming up on Thurs and in order to qualify for state, I would have to win both my matches on Thurs, making it to the district semifinals. It’s going to be tough, but if I play well and stay focused, I believe I can achieve my goal of state.
