Preorder tickets for the first showing of MockingJay Pt. 1 on Nov. 21, the third movie in the Hunger Games series has recently became available online. People all over the country have been rushing to

get some of the last seats.

“The second movie leaves you on a cliffhanger and I really want to see what comes next so I am excited for the movie to come out,” freshman Kelsey Reisert said.

The movie has been receiving mixed reviews before it has even hit theaters. Some fans are worried it will turn into one of those movie series that producers try to drag out to make more money.

But others are excited to see how the producers are going to bring the gory and violent last book in the trilogy to life. The movie is only rated PG-13 so any reader knows they must have left out the worst of it.

“I think that it is going to be even more action packed because it is going to all lead up to the final movie and battle,” Reisert said.

In Catching Fire, main characters Katniss, Finnick, and Beady get out of the arena after Katniss’s revolutionary idea. But the even more suspenseful thing is how Peeta and Joanna are nowhere to be seen.

With Katniss’s “lover” and friend missing, what will happen now? Well, if you have not read the books you will surely be surprised. it could be a good or bad surprise,  depending on your point of view as a watcher/reader.

“The part where Peeta and Joanna aren’t with them and when Katniss and Gale grow their relationship is a huge part that I hope they don’t leave out,” Reisert said.

If you have not been able to preorder the tickets yet and still want to be one of the first people to see this popular movie, then you better make plans soon.

AMC theaters are having a special marathon on Nov. 20 where they show all three movies, Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and MockingJay Pt. 1, in one sitting. For information on tickets and prices click here.
