High school marching band , orchestra head to Walt Disney World

The+bus+ride+to+Disney+will+consist+of+a+17+hour+bus+ride.+The+bus+will+leave+at+4+p.m.+%E2%80%9CI+plan+on+sleeping+the+entire+time%2C%E2%80%9D+Yuto+Nakhata+sophomore+said.

The bus ride to Disney will consist of a 17 hour bus ride. The bus will leave at 4 p.m. “I plan on sleeping the entire time,” Yuto Nakhata sophomore said.

The students have been anxious awaiting the biannual trip to Florda.

They will be visiting  The Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The students will also be able to perform at Downtown Disney.

“I have been looking forward to this trip since the beginning of the year,” Maddie Sykes, sophomore said .

The orchestra will be attending a workshop to see how professional musicians work at Walt Disney World.

Then they will set up to perform at Downtown Disney on Fri. Nov. 14 in the evening. The next day the marching band will march in the mid day parade.

The orchestra will be performing three pieces:

  • Part of your World
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Hoe Down
  • Frozen

“My favorite piece is ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ because I’ve played it before,” Michelle Siddique , sophomore said .

For the kids who don’t go on the trip will be able to spend the bell finishing other activities during class.

“ I’m kind of sad that I do not get to go to Disney” Atulya Murali , sophomore said .
