Q: What grade are you in?
A: 9th grade.
Q: What activities do you do?
A: I participate in marching band and jazz ensemble. I’m really into music.
Q: Are you in any clubs?
A: Yes, I am in computer programming, which really interests me.
Q: What instrument do you play in marching band?
A: In marching band I play the mellophone.
Q: What instrument do you play in jazz ensemble?
A: Clarinet.
Q: Is there a big difference between jazz ensemble and marching band?
A: There are about 6 kids in jazz ensemble, and like a hundred in marching band. Also, marching band is competitive, and much more complicated, with more roles to be in.
Q: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
A: Classic rock, like the Beatles. I like how the sounds all come together.
A: Yes, I am in computer programming, which really interests me.
