After a long seven year process, senior Taylor Evan’s book is now available on Amazon for purchase. Evans started the project in the sixth grade and as a senior has finally reached her dream.

“It’s still so surreal to think about. I don’t think it has actually hit me that my book is finally published,” Evans said.

The teen novel, titled The Unknown, is a fantasy that tells the tale of twin sisters who must battle against each other in order to fulfill a prophecy.

Currently, the book is only available on e-book format, specifically for the Kindle. However, Evans says that in around two weeks the book will available for purchase in the hard-copy and paperback formats.

“I’m still sorting through some things with the publisher but working extremely hard to get the book out to people eager to read it,” Evans said.

Evans believes others should follow their dreams that align with their individual talents. She relied heavily on her friends, family, and SHS student body during the process.

“I’m surrounded by talent and I’ve been fortunate to have been inspired by those around me to follow this dream,” Evans said.

In order to purchase the book, students can visit Amazon. Information will be distributed when the book becomes available in hard-copy.
