New Flyerettes coach Mrs. Elise Williams seen in the school hallway. She is an art teacher at SJHS and SHS; she spends the mornings at SHS and the afternoons at SJHS. Williams taught at Summit Country Day School and Norwood High School before coming to SHS. She is an SHS graduate, Class of 2002 and before she went on to the University of Cincinnati to earn a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Education from Xavier University. While at UC, she was on their dance team that won two national championships. From 2004-2009 she was also the SHS Flyerettes coach. She looks to bring aspects from her time as coach back.

“We need announcements, flyers and advertisements to promote us and tryouts. It is a different day for the Flyerettes. I am really excited about taking the team to new places and making the team exciting for everyone to see,” new Flyerettes coach Williams said. Photo courtesy of Lauren Kurtzer.
