It is spring and  the outdoor recreation classes went outside to cook. They did this on the campfires in the front of the school located near the senior lot. Teacher Dan Buchanan took the students out to learn how to start a fire on the first day. They started their fires with Vaseline; cotton balls, flint and steel. Brave students even tried the hard way to start a fire with friction. On the second day the class cooked marshmallows to make s’mores. The last day the students got to bring in fun treats which included: hot dogs, bacon, popcorn, shrimp, and burgers.
