Sugar Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting

Sugar Cookies /Cupcakes                                                                                                                 Caramel Frosting

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour                                                                                                               ½ cup of butter

1 teaspoon baking soda                                                                                                         1 cup of brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder                                                                                                          ¼ cup of milk

1 cup softened butter                                                                                                  2 cups of powdered sugar

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 to 4 tablespoons buttermilk

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place all dry ingredients into a bowl then wet in another bowl.
  • Combine the two bowls then stir until mixed thoroughly, then scoop into cupcake tins and put into the oven. Bake 10 minutes.
  • Heat up the brown sugar, butter and milk into a pot until boiling, stirring constantly.
  • After five minutes remove from heat and slowly add in small amounts powdered sugar until all sugar is combined.
  • Once cupcakes are cool then frost and enjoy!

 

Comments: The cupcakes are very thick like cookie thickness. Extremely good however, add extra frosting on top as well as whipped cream for extra creaminess.
