Winter Track gives runners a chance to condition for spring track.  It has all the events in spring track except some of the throwing events.  The team practices mainly outdoors but if weather is bad then they run in the building.

“I’m ready to start the track season and condition for the spring season,” said Alejandra Garcia, 10.

The winter track season has significantly less meets than spring track.  They only have about five or six meets thought the year.

“Even though there are less events it is still helpful for training for the spring season,” said Ted Vlady, 10.
