Star Wars fans celebrate past, look to future

SHS students showed their star spirit this week. Many teachers and students alike may have been greeted with ‘May the Fourth Be With You’!
“I greeted every class I had with a May the Fourth Be With You, and a smile. I love Star Wars, and can’t wait for the next one to come out,” teacher Mary Palmer said.
This catchy slogan/pun has quickly been marketed by Disney, the relatively new owner of the Star Wars film franchiser. This can only help gain more publicity for their next movie.
“I can’t wait for ‘The Force Awakens’. It’s going to be really good. I even got a May The Fourth Be With You shirt,” freshman Alex Reynolds said.
So far, the movie is scheduled to be released in early November. There are even rumors Jar Jar Binks may be killed off in the upcoming sequel.
