Mr. Sycamore gives their best to charity

  • Seniors Alexandra Schille and Erin Kroell host Mr. Sycamore. Mr. Sycamore is a charity even hosted by Student Council. Various male participants participate in events to encourage donations.

  • Contestants enter in their best Sycamore spirit wear.

  • The frozen t-shirt contest proved difficult for the participants. It took much longer than expected.

  • The goal was to put the frozen t-shirt on without ripping it. Senior Jalen Shropshire works to put the t-shirt on.

  • Spanish teacher Ms. Meredith Blackemore, English teacher Ms. Connie Smith, history teacher Mr. Ostendorf, and English teacher Mr. Reardon judge the competition. They choose who Mr. Sycamore is. Mr. Congeniality was chosen by who raised the most money.

  • The contestants compete in an ice cream eating contest.

  • Mr. Sycamore benefitted the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In total, it raised about $1,500 for the cause.

  • The boys rehearsed this dance three times for tonight’s performance.
