“One of my other highlights of being on the Flyerettes was definitely the basketball games. I loved dancing at all the games during pre-game and halftime. Senior Leah Brod is ending her dancing season with the Flyerettes.
- How long have you been on the Flyerettes?
“I have been a member of the Flyerettes since freshman year.”
- Are you planning on dancing in college?
“Right now I do not plan to dance in college but I could change my mind because dance has been a big part of my life ever since I started Flyerettes.”
- What’s your favorite style of dance?
“My favorite style is a combination of hip hop and jazz. I like them both because hip hop is a lot of isolated movements, while jazz is tons of jumps, turns, and kicks.”
- What’s the best memory from your years on the Flyerettes?
“My best memory has always been when we go to the competitions. I was really sad this year when we didn’t get to go to one this year especially because it is my last year.”
- How do you manage your time?
“It is really easy to get everything done because the season is over, but during the season I was really busy with practice every Tues. and Thurs. and we would have multiple games a week.”
