After the Varsity B (VB) 13-0 season and the Junior Varsity (JV) 16-0 season came to a close, both teams came together to celebrate the season at the tennis sports awards. The awards also congratulated the teams on winning several tournaments, and for going undefeated during the season:

VB (led by Coach Tanya Holland):

  • Undefeated
  • Flight A in the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association (GCTCA) Coaches’ Classic, placing 7th (first time VB has ever been in the Coaches’ Classic)
  • Sycamore Cup Champions

JV (led by Coach Lindsay Farroh)

  • Undefeated
  • Centerville Doubles Tournament Champions
  • St. Xavier Doubles Tournament Champions
  • JV GCTCA Coaches’ Classic Champions

With all of the players and their families, many members of the team were given awards for their hard work throughout the season. These include “best hustle award,” which was won by senior David Muskal for VB, and junior Eli Zawatsky for JV. There was also the “most consistent” award, which was won by senior Jacob Wang for VB, and freshman Rishi Dasgupta for JV.

The awards night also celebrated the graduating seniors, which include Naveen Viswanath, Muskal, Wang, Elliot Levy, and Joseph Ahn.
