Sophomore, Jacob Locke crosses the ball towards the box. This is Jacob’s second year on varsity soccer. He is also the varsity football kicker.

Sophmore, Justin Banke, looks to control the ball with his chest. This was Banke’s first year playing soccer. He played JV A all season.

Sophomore, Killian Torgrossa, plays a ball from his own end of the field. He has since moved to France. That was his first year on JV A.

Freshman, Michael Samsway controls the ball, looking for a pass. This was Samsway first year in the program. He also plays club soccer for CUP Gold.

Junior, Woody Trunceleto runs towards the ball. This is Truncelto’s third year on varsity. He is one of the returning players that will look to build towards next year.

Freshman, Bryson Bates, closes out on a Hamilton player. Bryson started on the JV A team, which is just below varsity. He is one of five freshmen that spent time on JV A.

Sophomore, Clayton Bennett, out races his opponent to the ball. This was Bennett’s first year on JV A. He previously played JV B and was out all but one game with a hamstring injury.

As the game starts to wind down, the sun begins to drop. Most varsity games start at 7:30 while JV games start at 5:30. This was one of SHS’ most successful seasons in recent memory.
