Push for playoffs

The boys Varsity football team had an outstanding game on Oct. 9. They beat Oak Hills 78-50. Their overall record is now 4-3 and their record in the GMCs is 3-1.
Senior Ben Schehr said, “It feels so good to come off a huge win. We have all the momentum necessary to go and win our final home game.”
Their next opponent is Oak Hills; they will play at home on Oct.16 . Middletown is currently 1-4 and almost tied for last place in the GMCs.
Freshman Andrew Greenberger said, “I am super excited for the final home game. It should be a great game to go to.”

Clarence Dawson and Ra’Von Bonner have reached the 2000 yard mark for rushing. Their total combined yards rushing is 2,137(http://gmcsports.com/schedule.aspx?satc=65&schoolid=10&year=2015 ):
Clarence Dawson (761 yards)
Ra’Von Bonner (1377 yards)
If they keep up the dominating performance up they can achieve over 3,000 combined rushing yards. Bonner receive the Player of the Week award on Oct. 13.

This is the second time he has earned this award. He had seven touchdowns on 19 carries during the Oak Hills game
