As senior night approached, the girls tennis team started to prepare. After having after-school practice, they were ready to win. It was time to go.

As the matches were about to begin, the tennis team shared some laughs. Senior Alexis Abele said “The pressure was off. We felt loose and ready to go and very excited for our senior night match!” The crowd was ready for the games to begin.

Senior Amanda Peck is honored with flowers and a speech by Coach Michael Teets. The freshman and sophomores on the team gave the seniors the flowers. They were decorated green and gold in honor of SHS.

Freshman Helen Sotropa plays for the first time on senior night. Sotropa said, “The energy was unbelievable. Everyone was so excited, and I was very happy to be a part of it.” The girls won 5-0 on senior night.
