The Flyover 10/26: Goodyear visits Kentucky and more

The Flyover is your weekly recap for all things Sycamore recruiting. Join us every week for a look at the recruiting updates in all sports at SHS.

Goodyear visits Kentucky

After visiting Cincinnati a few weeks ago, 2018 SHS lineman Tate Goodyear visited Kentucky this weekend for their game against Mississippi State.

Goodyear did not receive an offer from Kentucky this weekend, but the Wildcats have certainly made it a priority to offer Ohio talent early in their recruiting cycles, often being the first offer for many Ohio recruits. Goodyear certainly has D-1 aspirations, and expect the Wildcats to eventually pull the trigger and extend a scholarship offer to Goodyear.

Clarifying my comments from last week

Last week, I mentioned Neil Yejjey‘s “commitment” to Wagner college. I said that it was not a true commitment, and that you should not be surprise to see Yejjey commit somewhere else in the future. This commitment, although highly unlikely, may stick. Yejjey may end up playing tennis at Wagner college. Obviously, we wish him the best of luck in whatever he decides to do, but my main point in that was that you should not believe everything you read in the world of recruiting.
