Homecoming creates memories

  • EYES ON ME. Freshmen Elizabeth Arveladze, Sophia Newberg, and Jessica Shaud enjoyed their first high school dance. Homecoming is one of two yearly dances and the only one that lower classmen can go to. Students go all out with a new dress, pair of shoes, get their nails done, go out as a group/date to dinner, etc.

  • DANCING THROUGH THE NIGHT. Homecoming was Oct. 8 in the Commons. Most of the tables were cleared for dancing room. Some of the tables were kept if people did not want/forgot to check their shoes and purses. The first dance of the year; freshmen were introduced to high school dances.

  • DANCE NIGHT. Mr. Ed Clark, one of the physical education teachers, is the DJ for all the homecoming dances. He also breaks in with announcements and warns how soon the dance will end. Custodians, as soon as Friday afternoon, start to set up the DJ station.

  • PICTURE PERFECT. “Homecoming was actually pretty fun despite the absence of food. The music was not great, but I do not like general music so it was ok. I personally had a lot of fun, especially with a bunch of friends,” said Miriam Chowdhury, 10.
