  • ASSEMBLE. A group of students gathered together to send a message of love to the SHS population. An entire wall is covered with messages of positivity and inclusivity. “We wanted to do something less controversial for all the people that have been demoralized by Trump’s rhetoric,” said Brooke Baker, 12. • LOVE. Posters display the passion and creativity of art students. Many students and teachers around the building show their support for the cause. “I think the wall is all about positivity for all people everywhere. It is the one rare place that holds no negativity and I think that makes it very special for everyone,” said Stephanie Hong, 11.

They are in the process of forming a club to make the commitment to spreading the message of equality though the halls of SHS. Juniors Nicole McNamara-Marsland, Meredith Gottliebsen, and Caroline Keeton use their creative talents to craft colorful posters.
