  • TECHNICALLY CORRECT. During Aves Theater’s production season of 2015-2016 they produced Almost Maine.   • TECH SAVY. One of Aves Theater’s winter shows in 2015-2016 was Almost Maine which featured all seniors. Current Senior Cagla Akcadag is in the middle of practicing a set change. Adam Pelberg 10 said, “Tech Theatre is a great opportunity for students to learn about the real world. Not only is it fun, but you get to see amazing shows come to life.”

  • 1-800 TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Aves Theater’s first show of the 2016-2017 season was The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Theater director John Whapam is giving directions on one of the late nighs the cast, crew and band had to stay to prepare for the show. Sara Cohen 11 said, “Tech is super fun. I love learning new things and hanging out with my friends.”

  • NO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES HERE. Aves Theater’s main production during the 2015-2016 season was Bring It On The Musical. Part of the set was worked on during Tech Theatre class. Director John Whapam was giving notes on a rehearsal a couple of days before the show opened. Ellie Armstrong 10 who took tech class said, “Tech Class gave me a deeper appreciation for any production I’m seeing.”

  • YOU JUST GOT TECHED. Aves Theater’s second winter production of 2015-2016 was Noises Off. Former SHS senior Tyler Miller and current SHS junior Nittin Pauletti were cuing lights. Grace Hall 10, said, “Tech is a very important part of a show and the show would definitely not go on without them.”
