  • SHINE BRIGHT. After construction during the summer months, the SHS pool is complete. New lights under the pool make swimming under the water a little more enjoyable. “Even though they only added lights to the pool, it definitely felt fresher in there when I went to my first swim practice in the new pool,” said Alia Diushebaeva 10.

  • PLUNGE. As well as new lights, the SHS pool got a new paint job that shows off our school spirit. With the Aves logo painted on the back wall of the pool, other schools definitely know whos pool it is. “When I played water polo this year it was so cool to see the big logo on the back wall. It just made me feel like I represent something much greater,” said Ellie Armstrong, 10.

  • PADDLE AWAY. The new SHS pool is equipped with a new floor, new paint, and brand new LED underwater lights. WIth the water polo season finished and the swimming season about to begin, the new pool is always full of SHS swimmers.

  • DOWN UNDER. A new floor in the pool adds a clean feel to the water. With the new white floor, the flags above the water make a large reflection of our school colors.

  • SPLASH. When new updates were done to the pool, the students of sycamore were excited to see what they may swim in during their gym class. As the first semester is coming to an end, the next wave of students will dive into the pool next semester. “I am really excited to see what they did over the summer to the pool,” said Eva Armbruster, 9.
