FINAL.“I am so happy that I got the opportunity to play with my water polo family. I love these girls so much and we have a strong community. I am so excited for state and know we will rock it!” said senior Meegan Gould.

The girl’s water polo team is headed for the Princeton High School pool to compete against other teams in Ohio. The team has been working fiercely with great determination to prepare for this competition.

“I am nervous but excited to see everything we have worked for all year come together,” said Abigail Hausfeld, 12, captain.

At 3:30 on Oct. 20, the team will be playing against Thomas Worthington. If they come out with a win, they will move on to the semifinals at 12:00 on Saturday.

“I’m really excited to go to state. It’s my senior year, I’m just hoping to bring back some hardware and place top four like we have the past five years,” said Sarah Abraham, 12, captain.

If the team pulls out a win for the Saturday 12:00 games, they will play for the first/second spot around 7 p.m. If they lose, they play for the third/fourth spot at 6 p.m.
