EDUCATION. The classroom is an important place for students to engage. Susan Stokes helps create good learning environments in classrooms for students. Stokes also helps groups and teams in other fields outside of the classroom.

Susan K. Lewis Stokes, M.A., CCC-SLP is an autism consultant and trainer. She has been a consultant and speech/language pathologist for the past 30 years.
Stokes has presented on a variety of topics regarding autism with focuses on technology and practices which are evidence based.

In addition, Stokes works in the school environment, training adults to work with students and consultative services.

These consultation services include things such as behavior assessments and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). This can include classrooms or programs.

Services work to create environments to better meet the needs of children on the autism spectrum and other classroom managements or training’s. Stokes also offers individual or consultant coaching for individuals or teams who are interested.

Additionally, Stokes conducts assessments and evaluations such as Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE). This determines eligibility criteria for things such as educational impairments of autism and speech.

Students could also need a language evaluation to determine if that student has any communication needs at school.
