PEP RALLY. The Flyerettes started out with a small team of 6. After practicing for weeks, the Flyerettes first performance was at the prep rally—they danced to the song “Hip Swing.”

Flyerettes reflect on season

GO AVES GO. Senior cheerleader Kennedy Archer is cheering on the Aves during one of their last home games. “Stepping out on the track to cheer one last time was a decision I was happy I made. I stopped cheering when I got to high school, so I’ve missed the excitement of cheering. This has been an awesome season cheering with my teammates, one I will not forget,” Archer said.

Goalies have privileges that members in the field do not have, like not getting a foul for touching the bottom, being allowed to catch the ball with two hands, and having permission to punch the ball with their fist. “Most of us really have a passion for the sport,” Fribourg said.
