Track season wraps up

  • DART. Senior Asa Hodrick recently beat the 400 meter school record. Previously, the record was 49.19 for a total of 17 years, now being 48.53. Hodrick is fourth in the state for the 400 meter dash.

  • JUMP. Sophomore Jordan McConnell runs the 110 and 300 hurdles as well as the 4×100 relay. Next year will be his fifth year of spring track. His score for the 300 meter hurdles was 38.92 coming in fourth place.

  • FLY. With school coming to an end, senior Max Bruggeman is ready to fly on to Ohio State campus. Max participates in the 400 meter dash as well as long jump. His personal record for long jump is 16”10, and a 53.28 for the 400 meter dash.

  • POWER. Junior Mia Lansberg performs high jump with a personal best jump score of 4’9. She also runs the 200 meter dash, and 4×200 relay. The 4×200 relay team consist of Lansberg, Allie Fehr, Chiara Moore, and Meggie Digiovanna.

  • SPEED. Senior Patrick Tuiemeh participates in long jump.With the season coming to an end, he ended with a 19”11 jump. This photo shows how high Tuiemeh can jump.
