HAVE COURAGE. Senior David Moskowitz, #16 on the Varsity lacrosse team, received the Courageous Student Award from the OHSAA in tribute to his remarkable health recovery. At the Varsity lacrosse Senior Night Moskowitz was honored for his courage. He took the field for 16 seconds with his family to be recognized for his determination and resiliency.

SPRING INTO FINAL BAND CONCERT. Sycamore Winds (2nd bell) plays their last concert of the year. Sycamore Winds played four pieces this year including the annual tradition of a concerto. The concerto winner this year was french horn player junior Daniel Halstead. The last piece was SHS’ Alma Mater joined by all other seniors from Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony.

CELEBRATE. On Feb. 28, the student body gathered in the gym to attend a Black History Month Celebration assembly. The assembly included guest appearances, including the keynote speaker, Mr. Keenan Singleton. Singleton is a sports reporter here in Cincinnati for WCPO Channel 9.

MAY IT PLEASE THE COURT. Last Friday, both the Sycamore JV and Freshman team went to compete at the OCLRE Mock Trial Regional Competition in Clermont County. Both teams competed extremely well, even taking home some individual awards. Pictured is the Freshman team after a long, hard day in court. “We have a great team dynamic, and I love being a part of it every day,” said Anusha Gambheera, 9.
