Welcome back!
WELCOME BACK. On August 16, all students were welcomed back to school. The PTO had various decorations set up in the front office to welcome students back and to celebrate the seniors. “The Leaf” staff hopes you have a great year!
Welcome back to another great year at SHS! On August 15, all freshman, seniors, and new students were welcomed back for various meetings and activities. The incoming freshman took part in their final Freshman Camp as campers.
The freshman also got the chance to walk their schedule and attend 10-minute classes. This allowed for the freshman to navigate their schedule with fewer students, work out any last minute schedule issues, and get to know their classmates and teachers.
Seniors attended meetings, including meetings with their counselors regarding the college application process. Before seniors left they had the opportunity to sidewalk chalk their parking spot.
All students came back on August 16, following a normal bell schedule.
Here are some upcoming dates to keep in mind as school starts back up:
- August 20: 12th grade parent meeting, starts at 6:30 p.m.
- August 21: SHS picture day
- August 25: SHS Sycamore Band and Orchestra Boosters (SBOB) Tag Day, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- September 3: No school – Labor Day.
