YUM. The silver pot is mixed with steaming chocolate and a huge marshmallow and graham crackers. On the side, you have the wonderful selections of fruit and tasty treats to dip in the fondue. “The strawberries were the best part,” said Lily Banke, 11.

Looking for a tasty dinner for homecoming? Well, have no fear. We have found the place for you: The Melting Pot in Montgomery.

The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant. It is a perfect place to go with a date or even a group of friends. The atmosphere is very calm and soothing, as it is a little quiet and the lighting is very dim which makes the room darker.

You start off with your dinner which is served with cheese fondue to dip your meat in. After that delectable dinner, you get the favorite course: dessert. There is an array of choices to choose from when selecting your chocolate fondue. My friends and I choose the s’mores fondue which was impeccable.

“The s’mores fondue was a great choice, it tasted just like a s’more you had right out of the fire pit. When you dip strawberries into the fondue it was just delectable,” said Lily Banke, 11.

The service was fantastic, they were always making sure that we all had everything we needed and gave us refills on our fruit.

Hostess Sarah Whiteside, 11 said, “I think students should choose The Melting Pot for homecoming dinner because it offers not only fondue but an experience that is interactive and different than a normal restaurant.”

We would rate this restaurant a solid 10 out of 10.
