“Fashion is a big part of my life and future. Since I became involved with Fashion For The Cure last year, I really fell in love with the design and the meaning of fashion. For me, it is something much larger than clothes or reflecting personality. My goal in fashion is to expose the unknown of fast fashion from the lack of sustainability, lack of ethics in the supply chain and lack of women in boardrooms. Fashion is less of how cool an outfit may look but the fact that the fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world, directly behind oil. I hope to go into fashion design next year to solve these hidden problems that fashion drags along with it while still looking fresh.”
