“[Yoga] is the time that I get for myself. It is the way in which I am able to truly practice self-care in a healthy way. Secondly, it provides me [with] a sense of purpose as a student and teacher that I don’t find elsewhere, and lastly physically I love workouts and yoga continuously challenges me, forcing me to keep myself in shape and in touch with my body from everything from complexity of the core to the simplicity of the breath.”
