TPA students teach on

TEACH AND LEARN. The Sycamore Teaching Professions Academy (TPA) is a class SHS offers for juniors and seniors who want to work with children in the future. The class is for students who want to be teachers, go into social work, something with pediatrics, therapy and more. Seniors take two bells worth of TPA and go off into the community and student teach or shadow a professional. “Taking TPA has been my greatest choice of high school. I have learned so much about education, which has not only prepared me to be a better teacher but has also helped me become a better student. TPA has been an incredible foundation to build this dream upon,” said Mallory Comerford, 12.
