The oldest restaurant in the world is Restaurant Botín, located in Madrid, Spain. It has been open from a total of 294 years, and still services customers today. Despite how much time has passed, the restaurant still has the same interior and cooking methods, even keeping the enormous firewood oven in which they cook entire pigs.

My favorite place that we visited in Spain was known as the Sagrada Familia, right in the heart of Barcelona. This church is surrounded by breathtaking carvings and statues, and features enormous stained glass windows that let in colors from all sides of the spectrum filter into the vast chapel.
