With so many libraries closing, here are some reasons about why you should protect your local libraries:
- It is FREE. Free to sign up for a card, to check out books, DVDs, and music.
- It will ship anything you want that they have to the location of your choice- and yes that is free also.
- They provide homework help on their website. http://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/resources/
- They provide computers with internet access for patrons at all of their locations.
- There are free shows and movies, and the libraries in Cincinnati have a fairly good selection. And with Blockbuster closed, it is one of the main options.
- They have e-books available via http://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/, so you do not even have to go to the library to get a new book
- They have many programs, many of which can be found here: http://programs.cincinnatilibrary.org/evanced/lib/eventcalendar.asp
- They have a Tumblr blog, Inklings http://cincylibrary.tumblr.com/
