Even if the game disappointed many people the, Super Bowl half time performance did not. Acts that were performed included:
- Bruno Mars
- The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Mars was the main attraction and his performance was good for many people. For others, not so much.
“I thought it was very well performed but it was a little boring. Super Bowl performances are supposed to be upbeat and he missed the mark,” said Hannah Young, 9.
Mars performance had a classic Motown flavor to it that really gave his performance life. From his suits to him dancing like James Brown people have been calling it a “throwback performance.”
“I loved everything about the performance, from his dead on vocals to his choreography, I just love him,” said Larson Kent, 9.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers surprised everyone when they jumped out half way through the show with no shirts on in the frigid temperature. They performed the song “Give it away now” with Mars and it was a very high-energy performance which pumped everyone up.
“I like the Red Hot Chili Pepper but their performance clashed with Bruno Mars. Also, they are way too old to not have shirts on,” said Allison Kossen, 9. For more information on the Super Bowl you can go to http://www.nfl.com.
