Hi! My name is Chloe Gordon and this is my first year as a staff writer on The Leaf. I’m currently a senior at Sycamore High School. I decided to join The Leaf because after high school I plan on majoring in Sports Broadcasting and I wanted to get some experience with journalism prior to college.  In addition, I have always enjoyed reading The Leaf and wanted to be a part of something great. One thing I’m really passionate about is sports. I have always loved watching sports and I have played sports throughout my entire life. In this class, I’m really looking forward to getting the opportunity to write about sports and I have hopes of one day being able to work in the sports industry. Outside of school, I’m involved in cross country and track, I play in the school’s Orchestra and on my own, and I’m a part of Sycamore’s Student Council. Being a part of cross country has introduced me to some of my best friends and given me many leadership and life opportunities, which I think is such a great aspect of a sport. I’m so excited to be a part of The Leaf this school year and I’m looking forward to an amazing school year! Go Aves!
