Ephraim Carlson, Staff Writer
Hey, my name is Ephraim and I am a senior at Sycamore. I joined journalism to take my snarky attitude straight to the papers and broaden my writing spectrum of knowledge. I do not know what took me so long to take this class, since writing is such a passion of mine, but being late is just the story of my life. Kind of like how I am writing this last second, and how I am also going to do all my pre-calc homework last second. I enjoy hanging out with friends because well who does not. I love watching sports as long as it is not a snoozefest like soccer or tennis. I cannot live without music, chillhop is where it is at. But, above all else my favorite hobby is writing. I enjoy writing sci-fi, fantasy, and fiction, so this reporting aspect of writing is going to be very different. In the future, I hope to become an accomplished author and I hope that my works will inspire people as well. I have two favorite quotes and they are “Speak softly, and carry a big stick” – Teddy Roosevelt and “Whenever I’m about to do something I think: “Would an idiot do that?” And if they would, I do not do that thing” – Dwight Fart Schrute.
