Hannah Peri, focus editor
Hi! I’m Hannah and this is my second year on The Leaf staff. I was initially drawn to this class from my love for writing. As the year went on, I began to improve my writing and learn new skills. From strengthening my communication skills through interviews to designing page layouts, I developed useful skills that will last a lifetime.
What I love about writing for The Leaf is the connections created between the staff throughout the process. You get to work with a range of people that have a multitude of skills that all contribute to making The Leaf the best magazine it can be. An amazing part of Journalism is being able to express yourself. By choosing what you want to write about and designing the article as you wish, The Leaf is multifaceted with many talented writers and designers.
I am so excited to be the Focus Section Editor this year! After spending one year in the Journalism class as a staff writer I decided I wanted to take on a bigger role and contribute further to the Leaf. With focus being my favorite section to write in, I thought it would be a great fit to be the editor for it.
I am looking forward to another year of creativity and collaboration on The Leaf Staff! I hope you enjoy reading.
