Hello! My name is Jaleyah Adkins, and I am a freshman. This is my first year in journalism, and I am excited to be a staff writer. I joined journalism because I love writing and working with people. I think this will help me meet new people outside of my grade and prepare me for my future. I moved to Sycamore halfway through seventh grade. In my free time, I enjoy writing, singing, baking, practicing gymnastics, shopping, playing sports, and serving at my church. This year, I look forward to improving my writing and sharing stories about others.
