Hi, my name is Lexi, and I’m a sophomore at SHS. It’s my first year working on The Leaf and I’m so excited to be a part of this program! Through journalism, I hope to improve my writing and focus on skills I wouldn’t normally develop in other academic classes. I have loved creative writing since I was little, and I can’t wait to get to know the school better through writing for The Leaf. I loved to read all of the issues of The Leaf my freshman year which inspired me to join the class. 

Outside of academics, I am part of the Fashion for the Cure Committee and Aves Theatre amongst other clubs. I love to shop, volunteer, go on long walks with my dog, Skylar, and listen to music. I’m excited to get to know the rest of the staff on the team and I can’t wait to write throughout the year for The Leaf!
